At ESD, we make self-defence and de-escalation approachable and accessible for all, preparing you for everyday scenarios.
At Everyday Self Defence (ESD), our mission is simple: to provide your team members with the skills, confidence and knowledge to navigate conflict and stay safe in an unpredictable world. We are dedicated to helping organisations across all sectors create safer, more supportive working environments through our practical, tailored training solutions that can be used by everyone, everyday.
We call this the ESD Safer Staff approach.
ESD was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe at work. From healthcare professionals managing patient aggression to lone workers navigating unfamiliar environments or office workers facing workplace conflict, we understand the unique challenges people face in their roles.
Drawing on years of experience in conflict resolution and workplace training, we've brought together the most effective techniques from globally recognised self-defence systems and combined them with the latest research in de-escalation, conflict resolution and behavioural science. The result is a set of practical, inclusive training courses designed for real people facing real-world challenges - in the workplace, travelling to or for work, and in their everyday lives.
Our unique blend of frontline experience, academic insight and hands-on methodology ensures that our training isn't just nice to know, it's actionable. We empower individuals and teams with the skills and confidence to prevent, manage and resolve conflict effectively, especially at the moment when it can make the difference.
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our training is customised to meet the specific needs of different industries, whether it’s corporate offices, public sector roles or frontline healthcare environments.
Helping corporate teams handle client conflicts, reduce stress and maintain a safer, more productive office environment.
